Over a fortnight subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the duo.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he only now felt ready to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can finally articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the production, commenting that he could not remember "a single day without joy".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob valued immensely. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes expressed.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a incredible duo would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked seamlessly with the cast, and he understood the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge decided to bar the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, following a petition from the local authorities.

A legal directive issued a security hold on the cases to prohibit the public release of "any investigative information, documents, files or images" associated with the probe.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a record listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Following the killings, public figures offered varying responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, providing provocative statements that were broadly criticized by numerous public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his voice to the critics recently. Speaking on his program, Rogan described the comments as "shocking" and remarked they demonstrated a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by remarking that an aide could have intervened when the decision to comment on the death was made.
